Hi Folks,
We just wanted to says thanks for having such a great program. Everyone we spoke to told us that we had to sell our house first (or qualify for both the old and new mortgage) before we could get a construction loan to build our new house. We were about to give up when we found you.
It is very nice to find a program that uses common sense in making decisions. We would not have been able to build the house without selling our current home first. Your program made it possible to stay right where we were while building and didn't penalize us for having a mortgage. And we were able to do the new loan with nothing down, so we didn't have to use the equity from our house for a down payment.
We ended up staying in our home and putting it on the market when we figured we were about 90 days from moving into the new house. That worked out pretty well. We had a buyer within three weeks and just negotiated that we stay until the new house was done. We moved right from one house to the next and closed on the sale all within a week.
